Safe by choice, not by chance

At CTI, there is nothing more important than the health and safety of our people and yours. We are fully committed to identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks before they become incidents to ensure the protection of human health and the environment on every project, in every office, and on every jobsite. This commitment to safety permeates all levels of our organization and is shared by our staff and flowed down to our subcontractors.

Our Corporate Health and Safety Program (HSP) is more than just a set of policies and procedures; it is a living document that sets the performance standard for every project. Developed in full compliance with EM 385-1-1 and OSHA regulations, the program provides the framework for employee awareness and training, effective H&S management on all project sites, and overall accountability for safe work practices across the firm.

Our proactive approach to safety employs observation as a means to identify potential safety issues and reinforces open communication and positive feedback through our “Work Safe” incentive program and our ongoing training and awareness campaigns. Our culture encourages employees to be attentive not just to their own safety and well-being, but to the well-being of their co-workers and the company overall. This culture translates into tangible improvements in company-wide safety performance, better employee morale, and consistent customer satisfaction.

Our efforts are getting noticed…CTI was recently acknowledged by the Department of Energy for our safe performance at the K-732 Switchyard at the East Tennessee Technology Park (ETTP).  In addition, we have been the recipient of the Small Business Safety Performance Award by the USACE Mississippi Valley Division for work completed with zero incidents for our work on the repair of 22 critical levee slides on the Degognia Fountain Bluff Levee System.
