CTI holds health and safety (H&S) in the highest regard and is committed to ensuring the protection of health and the environment. That’s why CTI has a safety committee dedicated to continuous improvement and promoting safe work practices through implementation of a “Work-Safe” incentive program, drug free workplace and accident investigation policies, and ongoing training and awareness campaigns.
Our comprehensive Corporate Health and Safety Program (HSP) is more than just a set of policies and procedures. It lays the foundation for our Corporate Quality System and
sets the performance standard for every project. Developed to be fully compliant with OSHA, NQA-1, and ISMS (Integrated Safety Management System) standards, the program provides the framework
for employee awareness and training, effective H&S management on all project sites, and overall accountability for safe work practices across the firm.
Project safety is the absolute cornerstone of our Project Delivery approach and it shows. In 2009 CTI was awarded the Contractor Superior Safe Performance award by the U.S.
Army Corp of Engineers (St. Louis District) for our work on the repair of 22 critical levee slides on the Degognia Fountain Bluff Levee System. This distinction is a true testament to our
ongoing commitment to health and safety. |
