Site
characterization and remediation are key components of CTI’s overall environmental service offering. With our strong science and engineering base, supported by extensive experience in field
construction and operations, we have successfully managed a wide range of projects for federal, private and municipal sector clients. Whether your environmental remediation project involves
a small-scale engineering evaluation or a complex design and construction effort, CTI will work creatively to develop effective, low-cost solutions, and then see those solutions through regulatory
approval, construction, operation, and ultimately site closure and decommissioning.
Working as a cohesive team, our professional and field staff provides a diverse set of services including: soil, groundwater, sediment, surface water, and wetland characterization;
remedial process optimization (RPO), feasibility, and treatability studies; fate and transport modeling; risk assessment; design, construction, monitoring, O&M, decommissioning and demolition
of in-situ and ex-situ remediation systems; heavy civil design and construction for supporting infrastructure; and regulatory permitting and compliance. We have extensive, successful experience
working under CERCLA, RCRA, TSCA, and various state-lead regulatory programs and can provide regulatory negotiation and litigation support, if required.
In addition to the services outlined above, CTI also provides heavy civil construction, construction oversight and cost control services for environmental projects. Examples of our work in this area
include: dredging; habitat restoration; capping; impoundment closure; slurry wall installation; wastewater treatment plant design; and Brownfield redevelopment.
